About the Project
The BMW Motorrad Welt Berlin is a place where brand, community, and motorcycle culture come together.
For a defined project running until December 2027, we are looking for an independent Brand & Communications Manager (Freelance) to support the strategic and creative development of this unique space.
This is a freelance service contract with flexible working hours, hybrid setup, and a high level of autonomy. You will collaborate closely with BMW Motorrad and key project stakeholders, while working independently and delivering project-based outcomes.
Your Mission (Project-Based Responsibilities)
As a freelance Brand & Communications Manager, you contribute your expertise to the following project areas:

Your Mission (Project-Based Responsibilities)
As a freelance Brand & Communications Manager, you contribute your expertise to the following project areas:
1. Strategy & Annual Planning
- Develop the yearly marketing and communication plan
- Define themes, content directions, target groups, KPIs and priorities
- Translate BMW Motorrad values into authentic on-site and digital experiences
- Identify effective marketing activities
- Plan and coordinate the project’s marketing budget
- Manage project-related content and creative production workflows
- Collaborate with external creatives, photographers, videographers, designers
- Plan and oversee external photo & video productions
- Prepare content for social media and website
- Ensure editorial and visual quality within the project framework
- Provide content impulses for Instagram, newsletters and the website
- Identify relevant storylines and topics
- Write clear and engaging texts
- Develop the event strategy for the project
- Conceptualise event formats (workshops, theme days, community gatherings)
- Provide communication for ticketing, newsletters & web updates
- Support the Event Manager during planning & high-level coordination
- Develop merchandise & giveaways for the project
- Coordinate suppliers, design and production
- Integrate merch into events and community touchpoints
- Contribute creative ideas to elevate the on-site experience
- Ensure a coherent atmosphere across showroom, shop & bistro
- Maintain alignment with key stakeholders
- Ensure smooth project execution across teams (collaboration, not operational management)
- Identify potential partners for the project
- Propose meaningful collaborations
- Coordinate communication to ensure mutual value
