Showroom Host

We at The Storytelling Company run the BMW Motorrad Welt Berlin – a meeting place for motorbike enthusiasts and the community, motorcycle fans, and everyone who loves the sound of freedom. In the BMW Motorrad Welt showroom, you can experience the latest BMW motorcycles up close and interactively, discover exciting special exhibitions, and gain exclusive insights into the current Gear & Garment collection as well as Original BMW Motorrad accessories. At the heart of the location awaits our Bistro, the perfect place to relax and connect. Right next to it is our Shop, packed with the latest Gear & Garment collection and stylish merchandise. In addition to daily operations, regular events take place: from season openings and movie nights to travel talks and live podcasts – there’s always something happening at BMW Motorrad Welt.

As a Showroom Host, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and management of the showroom. You will be able to hold informed discussions about all aspects of the BMW Motorrad world, as you will be in direct contact with our guests and will represent the BMW Motorrad brand with passion and enthusiasm. You will support and assist us at events and act as the point of contact for venue hire. We are currently looking for someone to work 3 days a week, totalling 24 hours per week. The showroom is open from Monday to Saturday (except on public holidays) between 10:00 AM and 19:00 PM. Opening hours may vary during events.

Your Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the BMW Motorrad Welt

• Welcoming, assisting, and advising guests in the showroom

• Operating and managing the media technology

• Cleaning and preparing vehicles, furniture, and display objects

• Set-up and tear-down activities for events and venue rentals

• Conducting inventory checks and reporting any deficiencies

• Supporting customers who have booked workshop rooms, including technical onboarding

• Experience in guest interaction and creating memorable experiences (e.g., promotion)

• Strong interest in technology and mobility, or willingness to learn about these topics

• Initial technical and product understanding of the BMW Motorrad brand, or strong interest in developing this knowledge

• Open, communicative, and outgoing personality

• Fluent communication in German and English (required)

• Interest in motorcycles - ideally, you ride yourself

• A young, motivated, and dedicated team

• A wide variety of events: movie nights, travel talks, live podcasts, season openings/closings, and more

• Provision of a team outfit

• Deutschlandticket (Train Ticket) included

• A salary based on a full-time equivalent of €2,850 gross

• Fixed-term contract initially until December 2027

• Pro-rated vacation entitlement, based on 26 vacation days for a full-time position
