Your Mission
As an AV Technician, you are responsible for the hands-on execution of immersive AV installations. You translate technical drawings and instructions into precise on-site builds, ensuring systems are installed, configured, and prepared for commissioning exactly as designed.
You work closely with Technical Producers and AV Engineers, supporting the delivery of reliable and high-quality systems. Your focus is on execution - building, connecting, and preparing systems with accuracy and care, while flagging any issues or deviations that may impact delivery.
You take pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ensuring that every installation contributes to a seamless final experience.
Responsibilities:
Installation & Execution
- Install and mount AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, control systems, and racks.
- Run, route, terminate, and label cabling (power, data, AV).
- Connect and configure hardware according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare systems for commissioning and final testing.
- Execute installations based on AV schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Follow direction from Technical Producers and AV Engineers.
- Build and install systems exactly as designed and approved.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised installations.
- Identify and flag any inconsistencies, risks, or unexpected site conditions.
- Implement approved adjustments as directed.
- Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Ensure installations are ready for commissioning and handover.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners on-site.
- Support overall project delivery through clear communication and teamwork.
