Your mission

About the Project

BMW Motorrad Welt Berlin is more than a showroom – it’s where brand, community and motorcycle culture come together under one roof in Berlin-Spandau. Showroom, shop, bistro, events: a living hub for the motorcycle community in Berlin.

We’re looking for a Berlin-based freelance Marketing Manager to help shape, activate and grow this space – both on-site and digitally. The role is designed around approximately 20 hours per week, with 1–2 days on-site in Spandau and flexible hours for the rest. The project runs until December 2027.

You’ll work closely with BMW Motorrad and project stakeholders, while independently driving the marketing, communication and event strategy that brings people through the door.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop the annual marketing and communications plan
  • Define themes, content directions, target audiences and KPIs
  • Translate BMW Motorrad values into locally relevant experiences

Events & Programming (together with Event Manager)

  • Support the event strategy and help shape formats – from workshops and screenings to community rides and theme days
  • Ensure events connect with Berlin’s communities and cultural landscape
  • Coordinate event communication: ticketing, newsletters, web updates

Content & Digital

  • Plan and oversee photo & video productions with external creatives
  • Shape content for Instagram, website, newsletters and on-site screens
  • Write clear, engaging texts and identify storylines that resonate.

Budget & Production

  • Plan and manage the project’s marketing budget
  • Coordinate creative production workflows and external partners
  • Develop merchandise and giveaway concepts tied to events and community moments

On-Site & Stakeholders

  • Contribute ideas that elevate the on-site atmosphere across showroom, shop and bistro
  • Maintain alignment with BMW Motorrad and location teams
  • Identify and propose meaningful partnerships and collaborations
